clements089/TikTok A mother and daughter duo went viral on TikTok because the daughter requested an unusual family heirloom to be passed down to her The daughter, 5, asked her mother if she could inherit her purple "Walmart bra" when she gets old The mother tells PEOPLE exclusively that her daughter has always been obsessed with the undergarment When TikTok userSadie Clementshad her two daughters, she probably didn't think that she would leave a piece of lingerie as a family heirloom. And then one of her girls specifically requested that it be left to her. The Kansas-based mom of two, 37, shared a hilarious conversation with her 5-year-old Winnie that saw her promising to give her a lacy purple bra, purchased from Walmart, when she gets old. "My daughter just said she loves my pretty purple bra and asked if when I get old if I'll give it to her, so we have our first family heirloom. A Walmart bra," she said in aTikTokvideo, with Winnie sitting next to her. The video then cuts to Winnie saying that she wanted to wear "zucchinis when I get older." Her mother lightly corrected the 5-year-old's statement and told her, "You're going to wear it like a bikini?" Winnie replied, laughing, "Oh, I thought it was called a zucchini." Courtesy of Sadie Clements The video has since amassed over 400,000 "likes" on TikTok, with viewers commenting just how adorable Winnie's request is. "Kids are so funny, they don't even understand how funny they are and yes it's zucchini weather here for sure!" one user commented, while another TikToker added that Clements "definitely" needs "to save [the bra] for a bachelorette party gift some day." Another user in the comments felt inspired to share her own family heirlooms and noted that compared to theirs, a "Walmart bra" seems relatively normal. "The heirlooms in my family were a dollhouse; a keychain collection; and four huge folders of random poems, jokes, short stories, etc. A Walmart zucchini isn't any weirder than that," the user wrote. Clements tells PEOPLE that she initially planned to keep the video within her immediate family and later decided to post once Winnie said she wanted to wear the bra like a zucchini. "I had the camera out to tell (my family only at the time) what she said about wanting my purple bra because she is always bringing it up, so I knew they would enjoy it," she tells PEOPLE. "I just hadn't stopped filming yet when she went into detail about wearing it like a zucchini." Courtesy of Sadie Clements Clements also added that her reaction in the video was "100 percent authentic." The mother further notes that Winnie "had always loved the purple bra," likely because she doesn't "get dressed up often" around her. "She came down and told me she wanted my pretty purple bra when I get old. That's when I started filming to re-tell her comments," Clements says. While Clements said in the video that the bra was from Walmart, a person on the social media platform told her that there's a chance that it might not be from the bargain retailer. "Someone in my comments said it's actually from Target, which is possible but less likely because I only ever buy cheap," she explained. "All I know it that it was a clearance bra, because that's the only kind I buy." The 5-year-old, as well as her older sister, 8-year-old Phoebe "are obsessed with catwalks, fashion, makeup, hair, all things fashion," the mother says. "It's hilarious, adorable and completely not like their mother." Clements always knew that her girls were funny, making the response to the viral video unsurprising. "Honestly, it's been a joy to share my kids with people because they really, truly are sunshine. The comments have had me crying, laughing ... and blocking people, I won't lie," she says, reflecting on the video's virality. "I jokingly said I was going to give [my daughters] my granny panties too, and someone said Fruit of the Loom for the fruit of your womb. I died." Read the original article onPeople
