The couple later confirmed their marriage to PEOPLE, revealing that they tied the knot on July 9 at the Four Seasons in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They chose their venue after watching the latest season ofTheWhite Lotus. "The Four Seasons was on our mind," they tell PEOPLE. "Cabo is much closer than Thailand!" They say they obtained their marriage license at the Ouray County courthouse in Colorado on July 2, and wanted to have their wedding there just days later on the Fourth of July — but the building was closed for the holiday. "We envisioned an intimate ceremony on the beach to celebrate our love," Ricky and Julie, 40, say, describing their wedding day as "a dream come true." When they revealed their marriage on Instagram last week, Ricky commented on the post, "I didn't want the evening to ever end…so I married you 🌸." They beamed at the camera as they marked the beginning of their married life. The bride wore a lace embroidered white gown, which she paired with a simple pearl necklace and a bouquet of white roses. She also wore sparkly flats to walk on the sand. As for the groom, he sported a simple black suit and tie with a pink rose boutonniere and black shoes. A second photo captures the pair embracing with their foreheads touching, and a third snapshot shows the two posing in front of a white building while holding hands. Ricky updated his suit with a matching white and black cap as the couple appeared to celebrate their wedding afterparty. The wedding comes one year after theSound of Musictheater actress announced the couple'sengagementon Instagram alongside a sentimental piano performance dedicated to her husband-to-be at the time. In the video, the actress played the classic song "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?" on a black grand piano as she sang along to the lyrics, while Ricky recorded the performance.
