"Jeopardy!" contestant Jamie Dingcontinued his run, capturing his 27th win and a spot on the game show's top five all-time regular-season money winners on Monday, April 20.

Ding won $21,000 on Monday's episode to bring his 27-game total winnings to $753,000, moving him up on the winnings leaderboard ahead ofCris Pannullo, an Ocean City, New Jersey native who earned $748,286 while winning 21 games in 2022, according toJeopardy.com.

He remains infifth place in most consecutive games won, still trailing James Holzhauer, who won 32 games in 2019. However, Ding's latest win has raised him to 10th on the all-time money list (including tournaments), according toJeopardy.com.

Ding is the current "Jeopardy!" champion, a resident of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, with roots in the Detroit area.

With 27 wins, Ding is among thetop 10 players in "Jeopardy!" historyand is currently ranked fifth for most consecutive wins. "Jeopardy!" host Ken Jennings holds the record, winning 74 consecutive games in 2004.
