Scott picked the couple's declarations of love on the season 4 episode "Smallest Park." "I remember really feeling connected shooting that and just ... kind of feeling like how special it was making the show," he said. Parks and Recaired for seven seasons between 2009 and 2015. It followed perky civil servant Leslie Knope as she and her parks department colleagues navigate the bureaucracy of local government in Pawnee, Ind. State auditors Ben Wyatt and Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe) are introduced in season 2 to slash the city's budget, putting Leslie's department at risk. Ben and Leslie have a contentious relationship when they first meet, but their love eventually blossoms. Poehler said the early moments in Ben and Leslie's courtship are some of her favorites. She liked the scene on the season 3 episode "Soulmates," where the two realize that they have the same favorite spot in Pawnee City Hall: the sunflower mural on the second floor. "It's a rewindable moment," Scott agreed. NBC TheSaturday Night Livealum also said she loved the wedding from the season 5 episode "Leslie and Ben." The pair attempts to hold a shotgun wedding during a gala for the new Pawnee Commons park. "When we shot Ben and Leslie's wedding, it was so fun," Poehler said. "It was like we were all just sitting there all day goofing around." Scott recalled that the cast had real champagne while shooting the episode. Poehler said it was probably not the smartest decision. "Not something to have when you have, like, a 10-hour workday ahead of you," theSeveranceactor said.
