'Diabolical' New Costco Dessert Draws Surprising Amount of Division Among Fansoriginally appeared onParade. A new dessert spotted at Costco is causing quite a stir, and not just because of its nostalgic roots. One Costco influencer by the username of Costco Hypeshared a video of the discovery on Instagramearlier this week. In the freezer section, they found a 12-pack of mini ice cream sandwiches from the brand Afters, which featured a blue-tinted Madagascar vanilla-flavored ice cream with fudge swirls sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies, serving as a nod toSesame Street'sCookie Monster. Responses to the throwback dessert could not have been more mixed, with many feeling immediately hype over the new grocery item and others struck by the treat's unexpectedly lengthy list of ingredients. "This is diabolical. 😭😭😭," one person declared, admitting that it "Def won't last long in the fridge 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨." Another expressed themselves simply with a series of fire emojis: "🔥🔥🔥🔥." "I would like a sample!" another quipped, as someone else felt confident based on a previous item from the brand, writing, "The bars were 🔥. Can't believe they found a way to improve." But a glimpse at the ingredients, which took up much of the bottom of the box, concerned others, with one simply noting, "That ingredient list is long af for just a ice cream cookie 😂." "Ingredients list is like a Harry potter book series. Im cool," another wrote, while someone else agreed, "Looks like 100+ ingredients. Trash." Some drew particular concern from the blue dye, as certainfood additives are becoming increasingly controversial. Magnitude 3.0 earthquake in New Jersey shakes New York metro areaNew Foto - Magnitude 3.0 earthquake in New Jersey shakes New York metro area

An earthquake shook things up in the New York metro area Saturday night. A quake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 hit Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, at 10:18 p.m.,according to the United States Geological Survey, or USGS. There have not been reports of injuries or of structural damage, said Jonathan Tytell, a geophysicist at the USGS. The earthquake has a preliminary depth of 10 kilometers, which is shallow relative to others that have happened on Earth, he said. No major impacts were reported shortly after the quake,NYC Emergency Management said. The agency reported that tremors may have been felt in parts of the city. New Yorkers should be prepared for aftershocks that could occur minutes, hours or even days after the initial event, a post on the agency's X account said. The post also recommended that those who felt shaking check for hazards like items that moved, falling debris or cracks. The Empire State building made sure to let New Yorkers know it survived the shake, posting on X: "I AM FINE." Tytell said the earthquake was "substantially less life threatening" than the8.8 magnitude earthquake in Russiathat promptedtsunami warnings in the U.S. Those in the area of Saturday's quake can expect 1.0 magnitude aftershocks, Tytell said, but whether this was a precursor to something larger is unlikely. He also said he did not think this was an aftershock to the 4.8-magnitudeearthquake in the area that took place in April 2024.

Agents arrest 2 men accused of helping suspect in Tennessee quadruple killingNew Foto - Agents arrest 2 men accused of helping suspect in Tennessee quadruple killing

Two men described as "associates" of the suspect ina quadruple homicide in Tennesseeearlier this week have been arrested on suspicion of helping the fugitive, authorities said Saturday. Special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested Tanaka Brown on Friday and Giovonte Thomas on Saturday, the agency said. Brown and Thomas, both 29 and from Jackson, have been charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, the bureau said in a statement. Brown also faces one count of tampering with evidence. Brown is being held without bond in Lake County Jail. Thomas will be transferred there from the Madison County Jail, where he was being held on an unrelated charge of failure to appear, the bureau said. The two men are accused of helping Austin Robert Drummond, 28, who remained at large Saturday night. Authorities have been searching for Drummond in connection with the deaths of four people Tuesday in Tiptonville. The four bodies were discovered after an infant was found abandoned in a car seat in Dyer County, setting off a scramble to find the baby's guardians, Stephen Sutton, a spokesperson for the sheriff's offices in Lake and Dyer counties, said at a Friday news conference. "The baby is safe and is being cared for," Sutton said. Drummond has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, possession of a gun during a dangerous felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Drummond was out on bond when the killings took place, Danny Goodman, district attorney for Dyer and Lake counties, said Friday. He had been released on bond related to an incident that allegedly took place in prison, where he was serving time for aggravated robbery, Goodman said. It's not clear whether Drummond, Brown or Thomas have retained legal counsel. The public defender's office for the judicial district that covers Lake and Dyer counties was not available to provide information late Saturday. Drummond is described as armed and dangerous, and anyone who spots him was asked to call 911. "Getting Austin Drummond in custody is a priority," the U.S. Marshals Service said. Two vehicles associated with Drummond have been found, authorities said. A white 1988 Ford pickup with red side panels was located in Dyer County on Saturday, and authorities areasking anyone with security videoof the truck to send it to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Drummond's white 2016 Audi A3 was found abandoned Friday in Jackson, about 74 miles southeast of Tiptonville, the bureau said. He is believed to still be in the Jackson area, bureau Director David B. Rausch said Friday. "This incident has this community on edge," Rausch said. Jackson is about 87 miles northeast of Memphis. Authorities have previously identified the victims as Matthew Wilson, 21, the abandoned child's father; Adrianna Williams, 20, the mother; Cortney Rose, 38, the maternal grandmother; and Braydon Williams, 15, the maternal uncle. Authorities haven't said how they died but have described their deaths as the result of murder. "There is a familial relationship between the suspect and the family," Rausch said. Arelative of the victimssaid Thursday in a Facebook post that the suspect has "literally been nothing short of amazing to us and our kids." According to the post, Drummond previously dated a sister of Rose. Rausch said the suspect showed a sign of compassion — dropping the child off — so "there is hope for him to be able to come in and have a conversation about what happened."

Associates of suspect in killings of abandoned Tennessee baby's relatives arrested, authorities sayNew Foto - Associates of suspect in killings of abandoned Tennessee baby's relatives arrested, authorities say

The man authorities allege killed four relatives of a Tennessee baby found abandoned alive remains at large but two other men have been arrested and charged with helping the suspect after the crime, authoritiesannounced Saturday evening. Tanaka Brown, 29, whom investigators described as an associate of Austin Robert Drummond, 28, was arrested Friday and has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and tampering with evidence, according to theTennessee Bureau of Investigation. Giovante Thomas, 29, has also been charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder,TBI said. The bureau did not specify what evidence led to the charges against Brown and Thomas. Brown was booked into the Lake County Jail. Thomas was already being held on an unrelated charge in Madison County, Tennessee, and will be transferred to Lake County to be arraigned, officials said. It is unclear if Brown or Thomas have legal representation. Meanwhile, investigators are continuing their search for Drummond in connection with the deaths of James M. Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Cortney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15, whose bodies were found Tuesday in Tiptonville, a town in northwest Tennessee's Lake County, the TBI said. The four were found dead hours after the baby daughter of Wilson and Adrianna Williams was found abandoned Tuesday afternoon in a car seat in a "random" front yard near the Dyer County community of Tigrett, nearly a 40-mile drive southeast of Tiptonville, authorities had said. The vehicle Drummond was believed to be driving, a white 2016 Audi, was found unoccupied in Jackson, Tennessee, and has been recovered by authorities, theTBI said Friday. Jackson is about 45 miles southeast of Tigrett. A second vehicle sought in the hunt for Drummond, a 1988 white Ford pickup truck with a red stripe, has been located in Dyer County, theTBI said Saturday. The TBI hasn't said what led it to name Drummond as a suspect, or whether investigators know of a motive in the killings or why the baby was abandoned a county away from where the bodies were found. Rose was the baby's maternal grandmother, and Braydon Williams was the baby's maternal uncle, according to Danny Goodman, district attorney for Dyer and Lake counties. "The victims were all from Dyer County, and we suspect the person that killed them knew all of them," Goodman, who also confirmed Wilson and Adrianna Williams were the baby's parents, told CNN Thursday. Warrants for Drummond have been issued charging him with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, the TBI said. Drummond is believed to still be in the area and should be considered dangerous, authorities said at a Friday news conference, urging the public not to engage with him if he is spotted, and instead call 911 for assistance. "We do need the community to be very careful, we do not need them to try to approach this person," said David Rausch, director of the TBI. Drummond was previously convicted of aggravated robbery for robbing a gas station in Jackson, Tennessee, with a gun in 2013, court records show. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for that conviction and was released in September 2024, records show. The US Marshals Service and TBIannounceda joint $15,000 reward Thursday for any information leading to Drummond's arrest. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has brown hair, blue eyes and a goatee, according to the TBI. The investigation began Tuesday afternoon when the baby was found in a car seat in a front yard near Tigrett, theDyer County Sheriff's Officesaid. Investigators, spurred by a 911 caller who saw the child, were checking reports that a "dark-colored minivan or a white mid-size SUV" had left the baby there, thesheriff's officesaid; the heat index was 116 degrees. The baby girl is approximately 7 months old, Goodman said. Hours after the baby's abandonment, the sheriff's office announcedfour people – later identified as the baby's relatives – were found deadin Tiptonville. The bodies were found Tuesday along Tiptonville's Carrington Road, the TBI said without elaborating. The TBI, when CNN contacted it with questions about the investigation, referred only to its news releases. The releases do not detail how the four were killed, how they were found, whether investigators know of a motive, or who may have left the baby in the yard near Tigrett. "This is a deeply saddening day for our community," Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Boxsaidin a Facebook post Tuesday. "We are committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served." Nearly a dozen agencies are working on the case, including the FBI and a US Marshals Service fugitive task force, the TBI said. This story has been updated with additional information.
