Jelly Roll reveals broken collarbone after he 'flipped' an ATV

Jelly Rollis getting real about a major injury he suffered earlier this year.

The 41-year-old "Son of a Sinner" singer revealed in a March 1 Instagram post that he'd "flipped" his ATV and broken his collarbone. In her ownsocial media post, wifeBunnie XOrevealed the accident happened in January and it was the "worst phone call to ever get."

"I was out there running all over the Grammys with a broken collarbone," Jelly Roll said in his video. "Every time I hugged somebody that week, I wanted to scream. I just didn't say it, but every time somebody squeezed me, dude, I thought I was gonna cry."

"I was so scared to get back on this thing. I just knew if I didn't get back on it sooner than later, I was just going to be more and more afraid of it," he continued. "Sometimes the machine can do more than the user thinks it can. This was all user error. Anyways, moral of the story, get back on that pony, baby."

Bunnie's video showed him in a hospital gown and hooked up to monitors as he sat back with a neck brace on. She called her husband an "ATV wrecker" and joked, "You are not gangster."

The couple showed up together at the Grammys in Los Angeles on Feb. 1, where Jelly Roll won in all three categories in which he received nominations: best contemporary Christian music performance/song ("Hard Fought Hallelujah"), best country duo/group performance ("Amen") and best contemporary country album ("Beautifully Broken").

After winning the Grammy for best contemporary country album, an emotional Jelly Rolldedicated the trophy to Bunnie, who wept and applauded in the audience, and his Christian faith.

"I would never have changed my life without you. I'd have ended up dead or in jail," he said. "I would have killed myself if it wasn't for you and Jesus."

He also shared that he "believed that music had the power to change my life and that God had the power to change my life. And I wanna tell y'all: Jesus is for everybody. Jesus is not owned by one political party."

The prior night, Jelly Roll got onstage at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Galato perform a coverof "Mama, I'm Coming Home" in tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.

WASHINGTON, March 2 (Reuters) - Iran and its proxies could target the U.S. with attacks in response to the Saturday killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei by ‌Israeli and U.S. strikes, according to a U.S. intelligence assessment reviewed by Reuters.

The February 28 ‌threat assessment produced by the Office of Intelligence and Analysis at the Department of Homeland Security said Iran and its proxies "probably" pose ​a threat of targeted attacks on the United States, although a large-scale physical attack was unlikely.

The report added that in the short term the main concern was that Iran-aligned "hacktivists" would conduct low-level cyber attacks against U.S. networks, such as website defacements and distributed denial-of-service attacks.

"Although a large-scale physical attack is unlikely, Iran and its ‌proxies probably pose a persistent threat ⁠of targeted attacks in the Homeland, and will almost certainly escalate retaliatory actions — or calls to action - if reports of the Ayatollah's death are confirmed," the DHS ⁠report reviewed by Reuters said.

In response to a request for comment, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement: "I am in direct coordination with our federal intelligence and law enforcement partners as we continue to closely ​monitor and ​thwart any potential threats to the homeland."

Iran on Sunday ​confirmed reports of Khamenei's death in a ‌strike on Saturday that was initially announced by Israel and U.S. President Donald Trump.

The DHS assessment also said Iran would probably continue its attacks against U.S. and allied targets in the Middle East and would almost certainly blame senior U.S. government officials for any protests that begin because of Trump's statement calling for regime change.

The U.S. and Israeli air war against Iran launched on Saturday widened on Monday as Israel ‌attacked Lebanon in response to strikes by Hezbollah and ​Tehran kept up its missile and drone attacks on Gulf states ​that host U.S. military bases.

On Monday, authorities ​investigating a shooting on Sunday at a bar in Austin, Texas, that killed ‌at least two people said it was too ​early to say if the ​gunman was motivated by the war in Iran.

The body of the gunman, who was killed by police, was seen in a photo obtained by Reuters wearing a shirt with an Iranian ​flag and "IRAN" spelled out in green, ‌white and red across the front. He was also wearing a sweatshirt that said "Property of ​Allah" on it, a U.S. law enforcement official told Reuters.

Further explaining, "So, I went to the grocery store. I got those crescent rolls that you can get that are very good. I rolled them out into a pizza shape, and put vegetables and ranch on top, and stuck it in the oven for 30 minutes." His self-assessment? "It was disgusting. Like, it was actually inedible."

Padma Lakshmi, who spent nearly two decades as the host of Top Chef, didn't hold back when askedabout Vance'sculinary creation. "He's married an Indian woman, so she comes from this very deep vast culinary tradition, you know, and he's giving her, what was it, ranch dressing?" Lakshmi said.

"Who bakes ranch dressing?" she continued. "Also, he's like, 'She's a vegetarian. She only eats bread, vegetables, and dairy.' You've been married to this person for over a decade, right? And we eat lots of things, right? Rice, lentils, beans, squash, all this stuff." Lakshmi ended with, "But, I mean, maybe he knows what she likes because she doesn't really have good taste."

During the same segment, host Desi Lydic asked Lakshmi about the worst thing a partner had ever made for her. The cookbook author responded with a story that had less to do with the food itself and more with the presentation.

Kelsey Parker is sharing her experience with grief after losing both a husband and a son.

In a new episode of theMum's The Word! With Georgia Jones & Kelsey Parkerpodcast, the 34-year-old mother of two opened up on how she navigated her late husband Tom Parker's death shortly after their kids were born, compared to the pregnancy loss she experienced with her current partner last year.

While discussing a recent appearance onSky Newsto bring awareness to maternity care being "so bad" in the U.K., the actress and television personality said there was much more she planned to share at a later time.

"It was a really interesting topic, and obviously we were just talking about Phoenix, and I couldn't open up completely, and I can't open up completely on this podcast because it's an ongoing thing," she said, referring to the loss of her son.

In a June 22, 2025,Instagram post,she announced that her first child with partner Will Lindsay — whom the couple named Phoenix Parker-Lindsay — was "born sleeping."

She and her late husband, The Wanted's Tom Parker, previously welcomed two children together: Aurelia and Bodhi, who were 5 and 4, respectively, at the time of Phoenix's death.

The British singerdiedon March 30, 2022, at the age of 33, almost two years after he was firstdiagnosed with stage four glioblastoma.

On Sunday's March 1 episode of her podcast, Kelsey said she still plans to share more of her experience, but added that for now, "the biggest part that I'm sharing is that I still have to be a mom every day."

"And it was so hard, I think with Phoenix, it was harder with Phoenix than it was with Tom," she continued. "I think 'cause they were so much younger, I could just be like, 'Oh, well, daddy wasn't coming back.' And you know, when I said about the angels taking daddy, we won't see daddy again. They accepted that, and we sort of moved on."

Kelsey noted that explaining to Aurelia and Bodhi, who were older now than they were when Tom died, that their brother, whom they watched grow inside their mother's belly, was more difficult to do.

"When Phoenix died, they knew the reality of that as well," Kelsey explained. "So, they knew, you know, my dad's died. We've never seen my dad since Phoenix has died. We're never going to see Phoenix and we're never going to get to meet Phoenix. I think that's for them. And it was why," she said.

Movie Review: Pixar delivers with sweet, action-packed ‘Hoppers’

"Hoppers" might be built with familiar parts, butPixar's latestisn't trying to hide its various influences. Instead, this buoyant, freewheeling adventure about a spirited 19-year-old environmental activist who infiltrates the animal world in the body a robotic beaver wears its references for all to see. Sometimes it's with a wink; Sometimes it's more overt, like Kathy Najimy's flustered scientist shouting, "This is nothing like'Avatar!'"

Film Review - Hoppers

Of course, "Hoppers," directed by Daniel Chong, is a little like "Avatar," but who can blame her for being defensive? She's figured out how to transport human consciousness into a robotic animal that can not only pass as a real one — in this case a beaver — but communicate with all varieties of mammals, insects and amphibians too. Is it also a"Simpsons already did it"reference? That might be getting a little too meta, but the point is "Hoppers" is having fun with its own chaos.

Najimy's Dr. Fairfax is a relatively minor character in the world of "Hoppers," but she, and everyone else around Beaverton (both animal and human), are rendered with the kind of specificity, care and goofiness that make them memorable regardless of screen time. This is an especially good thing when the supporting voice cast includes people like Meryl Streep, Sam Richardson,Dave Franco, Ego Nwodim and Vanessa Bayer. The last time I felt so singularly connected to the ensemble of a Pixar movie was"Luca,"which was also written by Jesse Andrews.

The hero at the heart of "Hoppers," Mabel Tanaka (Piper Curda), is actually a kind of spiritual sister to "Luca's" Giulia Marcovaldo — impassioned (some might ungenerously say "too much") and a bit of an outcast because of it.

Mabel's focus has always been animals: She was the kid who tried to free the pets in her elementary school (several times). As a young adult, she's the one who shows up on the mayor's lawn to debate. When Mayor Jerry (Jon Hamm) comes to tear down a particularly sentimental spot, the glade, in the name of finishing a highway overpass that will save his constituents four minutes on their commutes, she goes full terminator in her mission to save it — or, you know, as much as a 19-year-old in the body of a mechanical beaver can.

As a beaver, Mabel forms a friendship with King George (Bobby Moynihan), an optimistic, 80s-music loving beaver who oversees a superdam for all the displaced wildlife. The various species live in relative harmony and peace but still abide by dryly practical "pond rules" like "when you've gotta eat, eat." Her gung-ho, apologize later attitude has some positive effects. It also gets her and her new friends in over their heads when she inadvertently incites a war. For a PG-rated Pixar movie, the stakes get rather, uh, real. It is worth remembering that time in "Toy Story 3" where Woody and his pals seemed prepared for imminent incineration. This is decidedly tamer.

Don't think too hard about how "Hoppers" gets you from a little tale about a girl trying to save a patch of land to a truly helter-skelter third act involving a flying assassin shark, a Machiavellian insect prince and more body swapping than "Freakier Friday." Just enjoy the adorable and slightly manic ride.

Somehow, amid all the lighthearted anarchy, "Hoppers" manages to pull a few emotional strings too. After the heavy-handed"Elio" misfire, "Hoppers" might still feel fairly distant from the heights of peak Pixar; It's also a big, joyful leap in the right direction.

"Hoppers," a Walt Disney Co. release in theaters Friday, is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association for "some scary images, mild language and action/peril." Running time: 105 minutes. Three and a half stars out of four.
