Joe Perry Hints at Aerosmith Reunion Despite Farewell Touroriginally appeared onParade. Aerosmith fans were devastated whenSteven Tyler'sfractured larynx forced the band to cancel their farewell tour in August 2024, but now,Joe Perryhas given AeroForce One (the group's fanbase's name) a glimmer of hope. "We're actually talking quite a bit. I know our touring days are over, but I don't know. We're all flesh and blood. I don't know, man," Perry, 77, said in a July 30 interview withWZXL'sKenny Young. "I would say, at some point we will all be together on the same stage… If I was a betting man, which I am, I would say, at some point something's gonna happen. But we'll see." This isn't the first time the legendary guitarist has hinted that fans shouldn't count him and the rest of Aerosmith out for good. Earlier this year in June, Perry also mentioned thepossibility of reunitingwith his bandmates on stage. However, no one should expect a full blown tour from the iconic rock stars. It's one thing to sit there and look online and see who's touring and stuff, and there's dates that show up, but there's so much planning, and what it takes out of you physically, it's a lot more than people realize," Perry said during an appearance on "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk" on SiriusXM. "It's one thing when you're doing it when you're 25 or 30, but it's another when you're starting to get up there like us. It's a really physical thing, going out on stage. And all that energy that you're putting out, that you're transferring to the audience, it takes something out of you in a physical and emotional way. And all of that energy that you give, that's flowing out there, that's making people feel good, it takes it out of you."
