To capture the ups and downs of all the couples, Netflix releases the episodes in batches until the ultimate finale wedding decision episode and reunion. The first six episodes ofLove Is Blindseason 9 premiered on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. All six episodes — which typically last about an hour — dropped simultaneously. Netflix As of Sept. 30,Love Is Blindseason 9 will have 12 episodes. Last season consisted of 14, while season 7 had 13. The episodes typically consist of couples falling in love sight unseen in the pods and getting engaged behind a screen. Before leaving theLove Is Blindset, the engaged couples get to physically see each other for the first time. After getting engaged, all of the couples travel to a romantic destination together to connect on a deeper level and explore their physical connection. The couples also get to meet their fellow engaged contestants — including anyone they didn't choose. If they make it past the vacation, all the couples will return to Denver, where they live in new apartments and meet their significant other's family and friends, see their homes and get a feeling of their day-to-day life.
