John Salangsang/Shutterstock Rod Stewart told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that he has "no bucket list" items left "I'm very happy with my achievements thus far," the musician said Stewart is set to start touring South America and Europe on Tuesday, Oct. 7 Despite being on a farewell tour called One Last Time, retirement isn't something on SirRod Stewart's radar, nor does it even appeal to him. "I still enjoy what I'm doing. I love it," the musician, 80, told PEOPLE exclusively. "You can tell it's written all over my face. Absolutely love it, but all things have to come to an end." The Grammy winner — who has over 250 million records sold — could easily hang it up and call it acareer, but he has no desire to do so. "I'm very happy with my achievements thus far," he said. "I've doneGlastonbury, so I'm happy," he explained, referring to his performances at the famed festival in 2002 and earlier this year. As for what does remain to be done, the "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" singer admitted, "There's no bucket list," adding: "I've done it all." Play now! Stewart recently finished the latest run of his residency show at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace, where he will return in May 2026. Following his latest concert, he headed toCaspian's Cocktails & Caviar, a hidden speakeasy inside Caesars, to celebrate the second anniversary of hisWolfie's Whiskey. Inside the speakeasy, Stewart got behind the bar and poured shots. He later hopped on stage to sing "Maggie May" and "Ooh La La" with the house band, after being presented with a cake in the shape of his beloved whiskey. Still, Stewart told PEOPLE he himself has shied away from drinking for a reason. "I find it easier to keep my voice in good shape, and it was excellent tonight. It's been excellent for the last year or so, since I've cut back on the drinking," he said. Denise Truscello/Getty After marking his 80th birthday in January, Stewart said he keeps in tip-top shape — both physically and mentally — in different ways. "I have hobbies. I work out," he said. "I have my sport. I love watching football and sports, and the [Celtic Football Club]. My hobby is extraordinarily kind to me. All men should have a hobby." "I have a loving family. I have an absolutely gorgeous wife," Stewart continued, referring toPenny Lancaster, whom he wed in 2007, and hiseight children: Sarah, Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee, Liam, Alastair and Aiden.
