In a 4-1 vote, the Austin resident was blindsided by her tribemates despite assuming she had control over the vote to eliminate Miami entrepreneur Sophi Balerdi. The betrayal was especially poignant for political comms director Alex Moore, whom Davis assumed was her closest ally. However, Davis had no hard feelings and even gave him a goodbye hug after the votes were read. "This is why I love 'Survivor' because you never know what's going to happen. I thought I was on top, driving, being the puppetmaster and I was the puppet," Davis said in her exit interview. "They got me and I'm proud of them honestly," she added. "I didn't see it at all."
