Turner, 71, starred as Barbara Rose in the original film, which saw the breakdown of a wealthy Washington D.C. couple's marriage.Michael Douglasplayed her onscreen husband Oliver Rose, withDanny DeVitoplaying Oliver's divorce lawyer in the dark comedy film. The RosesstarsOlivia ColmanandBenedict Cumberbatchin a new spin on the same story, examining how status and materialism impact interpersonal relationships. In this iteration, Colman, 51, plays Ivy Rose, a restaurateur, while Cumberbatch, 49, plays her husband, Theo Rose, a successful architect.
