The burglary was reported at approximately 12:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Sept. 2, after staff members arrived at the residence and found it ransacked, local NBC affiliateKNBCreported. Police told the outlet that three individuals entered the home through a glass door. Ross, 52, was not home at the time of the intrusion. Police obtained footage from a home security camera, and the investigation remains ongoing. PEOPLE has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for updates. The robbery is the latest in a string of celebrity home break-ins in Los Angeles this summer. The suspects "broke into the residence via the front window, ransacked the location, then fled the location with miscellaneous property," police said. There were three suspects implicated, who were not publicly identified.
